Obituary for Sally (Masters) Macko
Sally (Masters) Macko, 94 of Syracuse passed away peacefully on September 2, 2020.
Native of Syracuse, Sally was pre-deceased by her husband of 65 years, Michael F. Macko, Jr. (Syracuse Firefighter—Truck 4) on February 4, 2012.
Sally was a longtime Waitress at the former Schnitzelbank Restaurant (Change of Pace) and other various banquet facilities in the Syracuse area for many years. She devoted her life to her entire family and considered shopping a “sport”.
Survived by her five children, Michael (Mary Lou) Macko III, Gary Macko, Barbrie (Joseph) Scalisi, Timothy (Sherri) Macko and James Macko. 2 sisters, Dorothea Scholl and Beverly (Tom) Phillips and one brother, Robert McCorry 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews encompassing three generations.
Funeral Services will be private and she will be buried with her beloved husband at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
