Obituary for Richard A. "Dick" Kriesel
Richard Albert Kriesel died on November 1, 2022 at Iroquois.
Born in Syracuse on February 25, 1926 to the late John F. and Doretta (Flanagan) Kriesel.
Richard was a Master Welder and worked at G.A. Braun Inc. for over 35 years retiring in 1978.
Richard was pre-deceased by his parents, his two siblings, Donald and Doris as well as his son, Richard and daughter, Regis Hazelmayer.
Survived by one son, Robert (Pat) Kriesel along with eight grandchildren, Dawn (John) Perry, Laura (Erin) Kriesel, Robert (Deanna) Kriesel, Jr., Tiffany Gallagher, Summer Barber, Richard Kriesel, Zachary Kriesel and Dominic Kriesel.
Fifteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Richard loved to climb mountains and “Papa” has finally reached his greatest mountain top!
Funeral Services will be private
Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery
