Obituary for Jolie Ann McDonald

Jolie Ann McDonald of Syracuse passed away at home on November 8, 2022.

Native of Syracuse, Jolie was the daughter of the late Joseph Raymond Smith and Laura May Briggs Smith.

Jolie proudly earned her High School Diploma and an Art and Floral Design Degree from the Stratford Career Institute.

She worked at many Syracuse area restaurants over the years including Muckey’s, the “In-N-Out” and the Breakfast House. Just recently, Jolie established an online store, “Jolie’s This-N-That” and was very excited about making it a great success.

Jolie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She valiantly fought her illness for over three years and her family will miss her dearly.

Survived by her husband, Samuel T. McDonald

Three children, Amanda Smith McCallops (Jeremy McCallops), Rilee Smith-Vogelsang and Joseph White, Sr.

Four grandchildren, James Fralick, Savannah McCallops, Natalee McCallops and Joseph White, Jr.

Three siblings, Iris (Raymond) Herzog, Missy Smith and Robin (Paul) Fiorino along with several nieces and nephews.

Per Jolie’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
