Obituary for Jeremiah James "Jer" Parrish
Jeremiah "Jer" James Parrish, 43 of Syracuse passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023.
Native of Syracuse, Jer was the son of the late Deborah (Dillon) Parrish and Kim Hart Parrish.
Proud graduate of Henninger High School and longtime cook at Ponchitos Taqueria on Syracuse's Southwest side.
Jer was a loving, caring person who loved his family and friends deeply. He enjoyed traveling, music, sports, especially basketball. You could always count on him and he would give you the shirt off his back. He had a great sense of humor and he could always make you laugh.
Pre-deceased by his parents, his siblings, Lori Hack and George Haley, III
Survived by his brother, Christopher D. Haley, nephews, John (Deb) Carr and Marshall Dillon Bertrand along with great-nephews, Matthew and Michael Carr and several cousins
A Mass of Christian Burial will be WEDNESDAY, April 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist/Holy Trinity Church
Visitation will be WEDNESDAY, April 5, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist/Holy Trinity Church
Burial was in Loomis Hill Cemetery (Section N, Row 6, Grave 30).
