James Earl Brinkerhoff (A/K/A/ Brink, Jimmy, Jamie, Sea Bass) of Syracuse, NY passed away on November 14th, 2022.
Jimmy was the son of the late Harry E Brinkerhoff and Margaret G (Sant) Brinkerhoff.
Jimmy was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Gulf War on the USS Kitty Hawk.
With the love of the United States Navy, Jimmy dedicated many years of his life volunteering with the US Naval Sea Cadets (Stockdale and Truxton DDG-103 divisions) with his daughter, Jamie Brinkerhoff.
In his free time Jimmy enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends, playing video games with his online friends, and everything Star Wars.
Jimmy is pre-deceased by his father, Harry E Brinkerhoff and mother, Margaret G (Sant) Brinkerhoff.
He is survived by his wife, Laura (Steurrys) Brinkerhoff, his two daughters, Jamie (Travis Katura) Brinkerhoff and Erika (Jerry) Field, and his beloved granddaughter, Hayden "Toots" Field.
He is remembered by many friends that turned into family over his 52 years of life including his best friend/little brother, Jay (Shonnell) Poquadeck.
As requested by Jimmy, there will be no formal services.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hannibal American Legion, 226 Rochester Street, Hannibal on December 3, 2022 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. All are welcome to come and bring their favorite story to share with everyone.
