Obituary for Georgianna Elizabeth "Georgie" Ryan
Georgianna Ryan, born April 22, 1936, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2021 in Doylestown PA after a short illness.
Georgie, as we called her, was predeceased by her parents, John and Anne (Guzewicz) Ryan as well as siblings, Michelene (James) Brennen, Patricia (Joseph) Ficano and Eileen Dietrich.
She is survived by her brother, James (Linda) Ryan and two sisters, Kathleen (Richard) Pagano and Mary (John) Coyne, as well as several nieces, nephews and her dear friend, Colleen Driscoll.
A graduate of LeMoyne College, Georgie pursued a successful career in Washington, DC as an employee of the Federal Government. She lived in Georgetown and in Gaithersburg, VA, later moving to Doylestown. Her career in Systems Security afforded her the opportunity to travel to interesting places around the world. Always fascinated by computers, she spent her retirement working on a variety of computer systems.
She will be remembered as a caring person and a good friend.
Graveside Services will be on SATURDAY, October 2, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 4100 E. Genesee Street, Dewitt, New York. (Section 50—Randall Road entrance).
