Obituary for Donna Marie Anderson (DiMartino)
Donna Marie (DiMartino) Anderson September 3, 2020 Donna Marie (DiMartino) Anderson passed away peacefully on September 3, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.
Donna was a 1971 graduate of Assumption Catholic Academy. She was a Registered Nurse graduating from St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in 1974. Donna was formerly employed by St. Joseph's, Upstate and Crouse Irving Hospitals. She was most recently employed as a Teaching Assistant for 22 years in the Liverpool Central School District.
She will mostly be remembered for her love of her children and grandchildren who she adored so much and her willingness to help others.
Donna was predeceased by her parents, Rosemary and Joseph A. DiMartino.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Steve. She also leaves behind the pride of her life, her children: daughters, Kelli Susan and husband, Evan Proulx and Ashley Marie and husband Keith Shults, and her son, Drew Stephen and wife, Xuemao Zhong. Five very special grandchildren that she loved with her whole heart: grandsons, Bryce Evan Proulx, Brennan Matthew Proulx and Asher Stephen Shults; and granddaughters, Payton Marie Shults and Harper Charlotte Shults …every moment with them put a smile on her face. Donna is also survived by her brother, Joseph R. DiMartino and sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Tim Schafer; along with nephew, Ryan and nieces Jenna and Brianna.
Per her request, there will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on THURSDAY, September 10, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Assumption Church followed by the Rite of Christian Burial in Assumption Cemetery.
Please be advised that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and face masks will be required to attend. You will need to sign in at the church, have your temperature taken and there are capacity limitations.
