Obituary for Donald J. Trendowski
Donald J. Trendowski, 86 years old, passed away on Saturday July 3, 2021 peacefully at home.
Donald worked for 50 years at Syroco in Baldwinsville, NY. He also had a true love of horses and of all animals & worked on his family farm in Lakeland, NY most of his life. Upon retirement, Don enjoyed long walks on the Erie Canal, family pets of all kinds, enjoying times with family and friends, and spending time with his wife Gloria.
Donald and Gloria were married for 45 years, and they would have celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary: 7/5/75 - 7/5/21.
Most of all, Donald enjoyed the wonderful times and visits he had from his youngest grandson Joey, the light of his life.
Donald is survived by his wife Gloria, daughter Kathleen (David) Tibbitts, daughter Christine Doner, daughter Stephanie (Nicholas) Pestillo and son Donald (Keli) Trendowski Jr., Grandchildren Danny, Rachel and Joey & Great grand child Dominic- along with many nieces, nephews and cousins in the family.
The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Hospice of Central New York/ Finger Lakes.
Visitation will be on MONDAY, July 12, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 5600 West Genesee Street, Camillus, New York
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church in Camillus.
The Rite of Committal and burial will be immediately following in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum in Dewitt.
