Obituary for David M. Brophy
David M. Brophy, 65 of Syracuse died on May 13, 2023 at Loretto Geriatric Center.
Son of the late Lois M. (Kilmer) and Robert C. Brophy, David was born in Syracuse and educated at The McCarthy School in Syracuse.
David was a very active volunteer in the community and assisted at the Food Bank and the United Way of Syracuse in their offices.
Pre-deceased by his parents and sister, Carol Mooney.
Survived by a brother R. Timothy Brophy and a sister Lois J. Brophy along with several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Funeral services will be private.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dewitt, NY.
