Ann (Mulvihill) Vogt, “Mona”, 87 of Cicero and formerly Sandy Pond, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 of natural causes.
Born in Norfolk, VA to the late Joseph and Margaret Mulvihill, Ann grew up in Oswego, NY. She served the 174th Wing in Syracuse as a 1st Lieutenant and worked as a Registered Nurse at the Syracuse VA Medical Center before starting a family. Later she enjoyed Private Nursing sharing fascinating stories of the influential people she cared for.
Treasuring time with family, grandkids and friends, Mona’s memorable quick wit and smile were loved! She enjoyed Christian devotions, nature, gardening, travel, bingo, having fun and laughing.
She was predeceased in 2019 by her husband of 59 years, Donald Vogt; her son Michael Vogt who passed away May 4, 2022; her “adopted-in-love” son, Ted Reiter as well as her three siblings.
Ann is survived by two children; Laurine (Vogt) Saba and David (Shannon) Vogt, two precious grandchildren, Daniel and Elianna Vogt plus several nieces, nephews and her dear friends at Spring Village in Cicero.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 11:00 to 12:00 PM with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12:00 PM at Keegan-Osbelt-Knight Funeral Home, 900 N. Salina Street
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Oswego on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
